GAMES AND SPORTS

        The college has a rich tradition of games and sports. It has many large and other playgrounds for several outdoor games and sports like football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, cricket, athletics etc. It has some good indoor courts for badminton etc also. The college arranges many competitions for the encouragement of the students in this field between several teams of hostellers and day students annually. Mr. Raj Narain Singh is  in-charge of games and sports.

HOCKEY: Several players from the college have represented the state and the country and many have played in Olympics. To name a few, Sarvashree Vivek Singh, Prashant Singh, Rahul Singh, Anurag Raghubanshi, Sunil Seth, Shalendra Singh have represented our country in several international tournaments and Olympics in hockey.

BADMINTON: Rajan Singh, Ajai Bahadur Singh, Ananya Singh and others have represented our country in many international badminton tournaments.

BASKETBALL: Anoop Singh participated in Asian Basketball Championship in 1996-97 and 1997-98.

ATHELETICS: Gulab Singh is an international player who obtained Gold Medal in 500-meter race and Mahesh Kumar obtained fourth position in 3000-meter in Asian Track and Field meet race held in Delhi in 1996. Ramesh Yadav got fourth position in Asian Cross Country race in 1995-96.

        Dr Vinai Kumar Singh, Reader in Genetics and Plant Breeding Department of the Agriculture Faculty has several achievements in athletics at international level. He represented the country in Veteran Sports at Singapore (1992) in Asian Meet, at Japan (1993) in World Meet, at Malaysia (1995) in Asian Meet and two Silver medals in 100 and 400 meters Hurdle race, in Australia (2001) in the World Meet.
